Kid's Charity Play

Tomorrow we have our children's charity event called Bobby Joe King of the Sea. We had to organise it within my Masters Course Event Planning Class at the University of New South Wales. The event is to raise funds for the Ted Noffs Foundation in Randwick, which provides a range of programs and initiatives for young people who are experiencing drug and alcohol problems and related trauma..


Bobby Joe, King of the Sea is a brand new piece of children's theatre targeted towards children aged 4-8 and their families. The play will be performed in Balmain Town Hall on 9 October 2011 and will be supplemented by workshops for the children to participate in.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the work of the Ted Noffs Foundation and so, to maximise the amount raised, in addition to ticket sales, we also plan to hold a raffle on the day of the event.
